A transformation at U.P. is much bigger than what happens when you step on the scales, or when you start lifting heavier weights – It will change the way you see your body, and as a result, you’ll find you are much kinder to yourself.
The feeling after doing a training session at U.P. is incredible.
Everything feels reset, and over time you find yourself looking forward to your next session and really wanting to make long-lasting positive changes through a healthy lifestyle.
For a long time, I think I was in denial about my weight, and thought that doing a bit of cardio now and again would be enough. It wasn’t.
I could probably have ‘gotten away’ with that in my 20s, but I certainly wouldn’t now.

I’ve had several people asking me about how I managed to get to this point, including my colleague Nick Grimshaw from BBC Radio 1 – who has seen my results so far on Instagram and is also keen to try it himself.
Scott looking great hosting his show on BBC Radio 1.
I’ve also learnt a lot about diet and nutrition using U.P.’s meal prep service, EatUP.
I used to skip breakfast as I thought that would keep my weight down. Since starting the program, I think nothing of eating chicken and kale for breakfast!
A big thing for me has been the change to eating at regular times. It really does reduce the temptation to go off the rails food wise.
It’s also made me realise I wasn’t drinking nearly enough water. I have a large bottle now with me at all times and I make sure I get through three of them a day.
The EatUP food delivery service is excellent, but when my transformation is complete I know I will plan my meals for the next day, and in future will read food labels a lot more carefully in the supermarket to make sure particular foods fit into my daily calorie allowance.
I’ve learnt a lot so far, and it’s become a way of life. I won’t be on this transformation forever, but I know that I’ll never forget what I’ve learnt along the way at U.P.
