101 Tips to lose fat and get lean: 1 Drink Water!
Our London personal training clients have proper hydration drilled into them regularly. It can be a limiting factor for both fat loss and muscle building – I have seen people do everything right nutritionally and exercise wise, yet if they are don’t drink sufficient water their gains can be non existent.
There are many formulae for how much water one should drink, but given that climate and exercise levels cause needs to fluctuate I don’t necessarily set much store in them. A general rule of thumb that I like to follow with our personal training clients (whether fat loss or hypertrophy are their goals) is 1 litre per 25kg of bodyweight.
