13 Easy Tasty Fish Marinades

1. Chilli and lime

  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • Fresh coriander leaves, small sprig, finely chopped
  • ½ lime, juice, and zest
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

2. Sesame Blend

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

3. Ginger, Cumin and Tomatoes

  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • ¼ red onion, sliced
  • 5 cherry tomatoes, finely chopped

4. Mediterranean

  • 1 tsp chopped black olives,
  • ½ tsp capers
  • ½ lemon, juice and zest
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • Fresh parsley leaves, small sprig, finely chopped
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 5 cherry tomatoes, chopped

5. Orange and Soy

  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • ½ orange, juice and zest
  • ½ tsp rosemary
  • Fresh parsley, small sprig, finely chopped
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Pinch of sea salt

6. Thai Lemongrass

  • 1 tsp Thai curry paste
  • ½ inch lemongrass, finely chopped
  • Fresh coriander leaves, small sprig, finely chopped
  • Juice of half a lime

7. Citrus, Herb and Black Onion Seeds

  • Juice of half an orange
  • Zest of half a lemon
  • Fresh parsley leaves
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp black onion seeds

8. Mild Curry

  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • Fresh coriander leaves, small sprig, finely chopped
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

9. Capers, Lemon and Dill

  • 1 tsp capers
  • ½ lemon, juice
  • Small bunch of fresh dill leaves, finely chopped
  • Pinch of sea salt and black pepper

10. Balsamic, Dill and Mustard

  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tsp wholegrain mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Fresh dill leaves, small sprig, finely chopped

11. Lemon, Rosemary and Mustard

  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary
  • ½ tsp wholegrain mustard
  • Pinch of sea salt and black pepper

12. Dill and Lemon Rub

  • 1 tsp dill
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • Zest of half a lemon
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

13. Superfish Rub

  • 2 tsp parsley
  • 2 tsp thyme
  • 2 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
