Week 4 was a busy one for us work-wise.
I had a lot on with dashing back and forth to London for work meetings, so I had to ensure I had a lot of food prep with me so I didn’t get caught short on the train. Food is king on a body transformation!
Gorka and I also got the chance to attend the launch of the new U.P. Cheshire gym. It was such a great evening and so nice to see new clients at the start of their own transformation journeys all eager and excited to get going.
I gave a talk and a Q&A about the benefits of my own transformation with U.P. and tried my best to inspire people there to show them what was possible and do it themselves. We all deserve to feel our best!
It was really inspiring for me because there were people starting their 12-week transformations and they are where I was last year when I was starting mine – it was quite daunting and not knowing what to expect.
Gemma talking about how she achieved lasting transformation results at the launch of the new U.P. Cheshire gym in Alderley.
I got excited for them because I could say to them “in 12 weeks you’re going to feel incredible” and I was so pleased that a lot of people, and mostly women, were saying they’re going to do the program.
It also gave me a kick up the backside too as there was a video playing on loop of people’s transformations at U.P., including mine!
To see myself at my physical best, looking so fresh and vibrant and healthy, was proof of what I can do with my body and what I’m capable of physically and mentally.
Having your progress pictures as a reference is always going to help you stay on track with your transformation. It’s what keeps me motivated.
Seeing yourself at your best and remembering how happy you were is the best way to keep yourself going and making progress every week.
Don’t compare yourself to someone else, always compare yourself to where you were last week.
